Dubai Standard Chartered Marathon - The University of Manchester Middle East Centre students, alumni, staff, and friends were active participants in the 2019 Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon, kicking off the social responsibility and community support initiatives for the year. The community also donned walking shoes for the Dubai Cares Walk for Education, in support of the UAE’s 'Year of Tolerance‘. The team efforts continued in support of WeWalk - an annual walkathon representing people from all walks of life, encouraging a broader understanding of the challenges and triumphs faced by individuals every day, organised by TECOM in support of the UAE’s National Agenda and Vision 2021.
