A new agreement between The University of Manchester Middle East Centre and Emirates NBD has created the opportunity for students residing in the UAE to acquire an ENBD credit card to pay for tuition fees, which can then be converted into a 0% Installment Payment Plan (IPP), with the benefit of 0% interest.
The IPP enables students to convert tuition fees into convenient, monthly installments at no interest. Once the tuition fee transaction is converted into a 0% IPP, the total purchase amount is split into Equated Monthly Installments (EMI) - by dividing the total purchase amount by the installment plan term. The EMI amount is then billed to the student until the total purchase amount is covered in full, on completion of the installment term.
As an authorised Emirates NBD merchant, the University can now offer students the option to pay single semester tuition fees or an entire programme’s tuition fees using the Emirates NBD credit card, and then to select 6-12 months of instalments at 0% interest, with just a one-time payment of the AED 49 processing fee per transaction. Students residing in the UAE can apply for the free for life Emirates NBD credit card through this link and further details on the IPP can be found on this page.
