The University of Manchester Middle East Centre is delighted to invite you to an online session on Thursday, 6th May 2021 on the topic "Individual Leadership for Positive Social Impact: The Story of PCRF by Steve Sosebee, President and Founder of the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
In this session Steve will take us through his thirty-years journey of leadership and positive social impact through establishing and leading The Palestine Children's Relief Fund which is a non-governmental organization established in 1992, providing free medical and other humanitarian aid for thousands of sick and injured children throughout the Middle East, regardless of their religion or nationality.
About the Speaker:
Steve Sosebee is the President and Founder of the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, a nonprofit, nonpolitical humanitarian organization focused on providing urgent medical care for sick and injured children and long-term development in the public health sector in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. He graduated with a BA in International Relations from Kent State University in Ohio and worked as a writer for the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs during the first Intifada before starting PCRF. For the first 30 years of PCRF, as the CEO and President, building one of the most effective, efficient, and respected organizations in the Middle East. He has three daughters, Deema, Jenna, and Layla, and is married to Dr. Zeena Salman. He splits his time between Palestine and Ohio.
