Masterclass with Alicia arribas at DBWC, The halo effect, narratives and cultural economy approach to management

In this masterclass we will explore the rise of digital economy narratives, using the example of developments in FinTech through research developed by academics at AMBS.
 
Speaker’s Bio:

Alicia has been involved with Alliance Manchester Business School Programmes (AMBS) for the past 20 years in her capacity as a lecturer in Finance and as a tutor for the Consulting Projects for the MBA.  At present, she is also coaching executives for the Executive Education Centre at AMBS.

Alicia graduated with an MBA in 1997. She is a Senior Fellow of the Academy of Higher Education, and holds a PGCert in Higher Education. As a senior business manager specialised in cross-cultural projects, she worked for eight years in the energy sector in Spain, and then in strategic consulting in the UK and Brazil before setting up her own management consultancy business. She has 20+ years of experience in management consulting, advising organisations on international business development and organisational improvement through process improvement.
