Celebrating in style and with purpose

The Middle East Centre is marking the 15th anniversary with a series of celebrations and related events through 2021 and into 2022 and this is where you can track events and see all the photos. The event schedule covers everything from social events and social responsibility activities to the more formal dedicated anniversary occasions, from the gala dinner to the University’s MBA graduation celebration hosted in Dubai. It’s a great opportunity to bring our community together and mark this significant milestone.

Our memories built over last 15 years

Our Pride, our support to social responsibilities

The Middle East Centre is at the hub of a community with heart. To mark the 15th anniversary, a series of 15 community projects has been designed to mark our 15 years in the Middle East. Social responsibility is one of the main areas of the University’s mission and we take this to heart with our support for organisations and projects here in the region. It’s a great opportunity to get actively involved on a personal level. One example is the Dubai Cares Adopt a School initiative, which we are highlighting for special support this year.

Changing lives and careers

In their own words, you can read the inside stories about studying for a top ranked part-time Master’s programme, directly from our earliest students as we ask each of them - where are you now? You will quickly realise that a part-time Master’s such as the Global Part-time MBA is not just a career changing experience but a life-changing experience. You will also see that behind every successful student is a team – often family members, friends and colleagues - and that studying really is a team game, including the support of the Middle East Centre.

On camera with students and alumni

Listen to the inspiring personal stories words of our students and alumni from across the Middle East, as they come face to face with the camera, including those in the earliest cohorts and more recent graduates and even current students. They share their personal highlights based on their learning experience and it’s clear that while every student has a distinctly personal experience, there are many aspects of the experience that are common to all students. They also share their heart-warming messages to the University’s team at the Middle East Centre in Dubai on the 15th anniversary.
