The MBA changed my mindset from the relatively conservative and cautious banking sector and helped me to develop and see a different path. It took away my fear of being in a career where I didn’t really feel I belonged. It also gave me the opportunity to test our new business idea and I still use this experience today.

In 2016, I had just taken on a new role and wanted to join an MBA that would allow me time to study and work at the same time. I was lucky to see the immediate impact as I studied for my MBA. I became a Director during the course, which I finished in 2018 and since then I have been promoted two more times. I’m now Managing Partner. So, this is the immediate impact that you can see and measure.

The MBA has delivered everything I had hoped for and expected – it has enriched my skills and knowledge across a wide variety of business operations and really added value to my own career experience. All of this combines to create a level of competence that means I have very confidently moved into the c-suite and can discuss business operations in depth with high profile investors.

Completing the first phase of the Manchester Leadership Development Program (MLDP) at Alliance Manchester Business School has been an incredible journey. The program sharpened my leadership skills, expanded my knowledge in strategy and innovation, and connected me with global professionals. I’m grateful to AMBS and Tools & Solutions for their support as I continue this journey toward the CMI Level 7 certification.
