    Attend a one-to-one or group introduction call that officially welcomes you to the university and sets the tone for your academic journey.
  • Meet your Student Advisor
    Be introduced to your dedicated Student Advisor, who will guide and support you throughout your studies.
  • A guided walkthrough of university resources:
    Master your online learning environment through sessions such as Canvas Navigation. You will learn how to:

    End the session with an open Q&A, allowing you to clarify any questions before your programme begins.
  • Connect with students from across the world at a live welcome from Manchester:
    Join an interactive session hosted by the main campus in the UK, officially welcoming you into the global MBA network where you can engage with fellow MBA students across all international centres/branch and begin building your global network from the start.
Step 2
Global MBA Induction event at The University of Manchester – Dubai
  • Participate in the welcome event and team-building activities designed to help you build meaningful, lasting connections from day one. On the same day, you will also have the opportunity to meet Manchester alumni and hear first-hand how the Manchester MBA has shaped their personal and professional journeys.
  • Meet your faculty, student advisor and the wider team at The University of Manchester – Dubai.
  • Attend your first face-to-face workshop in an interactive learning environment. Work in teams on assignments rooted in global perspectives.
  • Connect with peers and mentors through the Students & Alumni Buddy Programme.

  • Attend face-to-face workshops across international centres/branch including Dubai, Manchester, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore.

  • Access regional support sessions with one-to-one student guidance
  • Be part of the Entrepreneurship club at The University of Manchester – Dubai. This club is designed to spark meaningful conversations around entrepreneurship within our community, whether you are building a startup, exploring ideas, or simply curious about the ecosystem that enables innovation.
  • Receive personalised academic support to maximise your learning and performance.
  • Attend masterclasses on various topics delivered by our leading academics from the Manchester campus during their visit to the Dubai branch.
  • The team also organises regular careers events such as the Annual Women in Business Forum, which brings together senior female executives, students, and alumni to share workplace experiences, insights, and valuable networking opportunities.
