Advances in computational, text and image recognition technologies, machine learning and statistics, and tracking engineering have paved the way for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution. These advances are likely to impact and reshape organisations and lead to the emergence of algorithmic firms. This masterclass will explore some of the drivers of the AI revolution, reflect on the role of evolving AI-based algorithms in organisations and discuss their implications for business strategy and corporate management.
Prof. Reza Salehnejad
Reza is an economist and course leader for MBS’s MBA in Digital Economy: Foundations and Strategies, and Current Topics in Macroeconomics. He has researched and taught in the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford and has received numerous awards for teaching innovation at the University of Manchester. His publications include Rationality, Bounded Rationality and Macroeconomics (McMillan, 2007). Reza also offers consultancy and advice to venture capital firms.
